A Pap test (or Pap smear) is a simple procedure used to check for precancerous or cancerous cells on the cervix β the lower part of the uterus that opens into the vagina. It is one of the most effective ways to detect cervical cancer early and save lives.
Why is the Pap Test Important?

Who Should Get a Pap Test?
- Women aged 21β65 years, especially if sexually
